• Recognitions at the October 24th Board Meeting

    During each monthly Board of Education meeting, time is allotted for recognition of students, staff, business partners, and schools that bring honor to the ÎçҹѰ»¨ and further its mission to improve the quality of education. There were several recognized at the Board Meeting on October 24, 2018.

    Khloe Dyell, a 5th grader at Palmetto Elementary School, was selected to lead the Board of Education in the Pledge of Allegiance.

    "Khloe is a model 5th grade student who stands out as a top tiger. Khloe is dedicated to her success at school, and her work ethic stands out to all that work with her. As a model Tiger, she often works hard to make sure others around her are successful too, and her actions show others what it is like to be a top tiger at Palmetto. Khloe demonstrates excellence in academics and is most recently elected Vice President in her classroom. We are so proud and honored to have her as a tiger at Palmetto.," said Superintendent Randal S. Bassett.

    14 Students from the ÎçҹѰ»¨ were recognized for receiving perfect scores in both Language Arts and Math in the 2018 Smarter Balance Assessments.
