Dear Kaiser Cat Students and Parents,

I hope your school year has been fantastic, and I want to share some great news with you!

We were notified Kaiser High School achieved the following commendations from CollegeBoard recognizing the success of our Advanced Placement students on last spring’s exams.

• Advanced Placement Honor Roll/Bronze Award – For schools who have:
• Increased student participation in AP classes/exams
• Increased the school’s college-going culture
• Increased opportunities for students to earn college credit 
• AP Access Award
• Recognizes schools who provide all students with opportunities to participate in the Advanced Placement program, including underrepresented populations

I have already thanked our teachers and support staff who challenge students and provide supports to help them be successful. I also want to congratulate our students and thank our parents for all you do to support, motivate, and encourage our students. Together, we are a great team!

Please be on the lookout for an invitation to our Academic Awards Ceremony to be held at 5:30 PM on November 6. We will be recognizing our AP Scholars and students who earned a 3.5, or better, grade point average last spring.  I look forward to many more opportunities to celebrate our student successes.
