• Attendance Awareness Campaign: Showing Up Together

When we say, “Show Up Together,” we are talking about building strong, trusting relationships; promoting safety, connection, and support; employing positive, problem-solving approaches; and collaborating with families and community. One of the most important ways we build positive conditions is to foster student-teacher relationships and ensure students have access to relevant instruction.

Of course, there are times students may not be feeling well. If you are unsure if your child should attend school, please review the “When is Sick Too Sick for School” graphic.

Here at Citrus Elementary, we are excited to greet your child each day to provide rigorous and relevant academic instruction. In addition, our school has many programs to support his or her social-emotional growth and well-being.

We have several incentive programs to help support positive attendance and will work closely with you should your student have difficulty attending school on a regular basis. For your child to experience academic success and personal growth, it is important he or she attend school every day.
